Mellon is a Christian discipleship ministry based in the heart of San Francisco. We walk with people facing addiction, homelessness, incarceration, disability, or mental health struggles — inviting them into lasting, Christ-centered community where transformation happens slowly, deeply, and together.
"We exist to connect forgotten people to community, resources, and the Church". This is more than a slogan. It’s a commitment to walk with people for as long as it takes—to offer not just recovery, but restoration. We want to see people healed, discipled, equipped, and embraced by the family of God.
We envision community spaces, life formation cohorts, and long-term living solutions where forgotten people can grow into mature disciples of Jesus—rooted in character, equipped with practical skills, and surrounded by lifelong relationships in the body of Christ.
This vision begins in the Tenderloin but expands far beyond. We aim to reach into new communities and populations—wherever people are forgotten.
At Mellon, transformation happens in three stages:
Our model is flexible, trauma-informed, and built for real life.
Too many people are cycled through systems that manage crisis but never offer community. People need more than short-term help—they need lasting transformation.
We believe the Church is called to be that place of healing. Mellon bridges the gap between the margins and the Church, walking with the forgotten into purpose,
